• 2 cups (any size you like)
• 1 egg white
• 2 TBSP Baking Soda
• Red Food Coloring (or any color you have will work too)
• Vinegar
• A tray to keep the mess contained

•  Separate your two cups in front of you
• Break the egg and separate the yolk and the egg white
• Pour your egg white inside one of the cups and mix it with the baking soda
• Stir well, until the egg white and soda have made a fluffy consistency
• In the second cup mix your vinegar (about half way of the cup) and the food coloring you have chosen
• Now pour the vinegar mixture into the first cup and watch what happens!

 When soda and vinegar mix, they form a gas called Carbon Dioxide, the egg white in this case traps the gas due to its thickness creating a nice foamy eruption. 

You can do the same experiment, omitting the egg and ask children what the difference between the two experiments is and what they can observe!
